Peter Jones

Entrepreneur Peter Jones runs a number of successful businesses, ranging from telecoms and leisure to publishing and media, and has become a television personality in his role as one of the BBC’s dragon investors on Dragon’s Den. Peter has been an investor in Venor Resourcing since 2008.

Keith Denyer, Director

Keith has worked in the recruitment industry for over 20 years, working in hugely diverse market sectors. He has managed recruitment organisations within Construction, Engineering, Aerospace, Sales and Marketing, Construction, Commercial and Industrial sectors. Outside work, his great passion is food and cooking. His claim to fame is appearing on the BBC’s Masterchef in 2008, and being a finalist in Reading Steady Cook in 2011.

Andre graduated from the University of Brighton with a degree in Sports Journalism. He played basketball at a regional level, and after working as a freelance journalist for a boxing magazine, brought his competitive spirit to the London office in 2010. He has a particular specialism in the finance and technology sectors, and has recently added running half marathons to his sporting interests. He is an avid Newcastle United fan who enjoys going to the gym.

Faye studied business and marketing at Manchester Metropolitan University, and made a beeline for recruitment after she graduated, as she knew the fast pace of the industry would suit her competitive personality. She recruits for a range of roles, including international positions in Hong Kong. Faye works from the Manchester Office, and focuses on northern roles, as well as those in London and the South East. She loves baking and dancing, especially zumba.

John graduated from UCLAN with a degree in sports journalism in 2009. He went into recruitment to earn more than he could as a journalist, and is now hooked: he has a particular interest in recruiting for international recruitment agencies from Moscow to Abu Dhabi. A Spurs fan, he loves football and enjoys running half marathons and the nightlife in Shoreditch.

Elissa joined Venor straight from her French & Drama degree at Royal Holloway. She is a fluent French speaker, having spent a year at the Sorbonne in Paris, and this has helped her forge great relationships with recruitment companies who cover European markets. Outside work, she spends as much time at the theatre as possible, and has started running in charity events.
